In 2017 an Issues and Options public consultation was held (between 25 September to 6 November 2017) to consider different approaches to delivering the borough’s housing and employment needs.
Following the conclusion of the Issues and Options public consultation, the council published residents’ comments, which were broadly supportive of a balanced approach to accommodating future growth through intensification and modest use of land currently located in the Green Belt.
