Prescription costs
Did you know, if you regularly pay prescription charges, a prescription prepayment certificate (PPC) could save you money? Or, if you have a low income you may qualify for help through the NHS Low Income Scheme.
In addition, some groups are automatically entitled to free NHS prescriptions, and others can apply for certificates that entitle them to free NHS prescriptions.
Period products
Surrey County Council operate a scheme to make period products available free to those who need them.
There are donation bins and collection boxes where residents can help themselves to pads if needed, there is no need to ask, simply go to the collection box and help yourself.
Epsom Library, and the Library in Ewell are participating in the scheme.
A Binti app is also available to download on the Apple app store for IOS users or the Google Play store for Android users, so that residents can find the nearest location where free period products are available to collect and where you can donate.
