Statement of Licensing Policy consultation

We are the local Licensing Authority for the licensing of premises under the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005.
The Act requires the us to publish a statement of gambling licensing policy, which must be reviewed every three years. The existing policy took effect in December 2015 and therefore a new policy will need to be effective from the end of this year.
We are now seeking views of residents and businesses as to whether you consider any amendments need to be made to our policy.

The consultation period commenced on 19 April 2018 and runs until Thursday 24 May 2018.

The current policy can be viewed in the PDF at the bottom of this page.

If you have any comments on the policy, please submit these by email to
