Epsom & Ewell Borough Council will be hosting a meeting for Epsom & Ewell residents in relation to proposed changes to the provision of healthcare at Epsom Hospital.
This meeting will be held on Wednesday 26 February 2020 at Bourne Hall.
The meeting will commence at 7pm with doors opening at 6.30pm
Changes have recently been highlighted in a proposal by the NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups for the co-location of several critical and emergency care services to be delivered from a new facility at one site, at either Epsom, St Helier or Sutton.
We are providing our residents with the opportunity to listen to a presentation by Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, to hear about how the proposal may affect services specific to borough residents and to ensure that borough residents have an opportunity to put their questions, views and concerns forward. The meeting will also provide an up-date on the current works being under-taken at Epsom Hospital to improve patient care.
Please be advised that this meeting is for Epsom and Ewell residents to hear about hospital provision in our borough, and whilst representatives of the Improving Healthcare Together Programme may be in attendance to support any questions, this meeting is for local residents and is not part of the public consultation being undertaken by the programme.
In order to attend this meeting, we ask that you register your attendance via the email link provided below. Please give the names of all those attending and confirm that you are a resident of the borough. Please be aware spaces may be limited due to capacity of the hall. You are also invited to submit any questions you would like put to the trust. We need to have these in advance of the meeting.
The deadline for submission and panel questions is 5pm on 14 February 2020.
