Local Plan timetable

The timetable detailing the order in which local development documents will be produced is set out in the Local Development Scheme (LDS). 

• Local Development Scheme  

The LDS outlines the details and timetable to produce all documents that will make up the Local Plan over a three-year period. The Local Development Scheme was approved as an urgent decision on 13 December 2024 following the publication of the updated  NPPF on the 12 December 2024. This required a decision to be taken in advance of the next available LPPC to ensure the Local Plan is prepared in conformity with the LDS.

The two core changes made to the LDS relate to the Local Plan and are detailed below:
