Robert Kenning aged 88Began model making after his son was trying to build a model boat but gave up on it, so he took over. This was back in the 70’s.His neighbour worked for Airfix so would give him some model kits of British birds and kings and queens to make.He then began running the model making badge for the scouts ( 1st West Ewell) and it was while the boys were making their models he started making his war dioramas.He would also enter his models in a model making competition at his work place ( BT) and was lucky enough to pick up many 1st prize awards.
