Please join us for our first ever BioBlitz in Horton Country Park!

In conjunction with The Orchard Project and Friends of Horton Country Park we will be holding a BioBlitz in Lambert's Orchard where we will try and find and identify as many different species as possible. Become a wildlife explorer for the day and with help from ourselves and experts from The Orchard Project, Surrey Amphibian and Reptile Group, Epsom and Ewell RSPB, Butterfly Conservation, Surrey Mammal Group and The Lower Mole Partnership, learn to identify the wildlife on your doorstep.

The timetable for events is as follows:

10am Reveal the moths

10.30am Plant discovery walk or pond dipping

11am Reptile talk or orchard crafts

11.30am Bird walk or bee and insect walk

Noon Butterfly stroll

12.30pm Picnic in Lambert’s Orchard

1:30pm Bird walk or pond dipping

2pm Butterfly stroll or orchard crafts

2.30pm Plant discovery walk or bee and insect walk

If you are coming by car, please use the Horton Park Golf Club car park.

Lambert's Orchard will be signposted from both the golf club car park and the car park at the southern end of the park.

The golf club clubhouse restaurant is open to non-members.

Toilets will also be available for use in the clubhouse.
