Activities for over 50s

Sport and exercise really should be for everyone! We are passionate about seeing people of all ages benefit from increased physical activity.

New Walking Netball Sessions at Rainbow Leisure Centre

Rainbow Leisure Centre are now offering weekly Walking Netball sessions, suitable for those aged 50+. The sessions are run by volunteers with years of experience. They are open to all abilities and are non-competitive and non-contact, focussing on improving stability, hand-eye co-ordination and team work.

When: Wednesdays from 1.30-3.00pm

Where: Sports Hall at the Rainbow Centre, East Street, Epsom, KT17 1BN

Price: Rainbow Centre club members do not pay extra, non-members £2.95 and first session free as an introduction.

Parking: There is parking at the front of the centre – customers pay 30p. They either pay £2 for 2 hours or £3 for 3 hours but Reception give £1.70 or £2.70 refund.

Strength and Balance Classes

These new classes are comprised of a programme of exercises to develop strength and balance in the lower body. The exercises are specifically designed to prevent falls.

Where: Epsom Methodist Church

When: Wednesday 12:30-1:15pm and 1:30-2:30pm

Cost: £6.50 or £6 if you book 5 or more classes
