Dead animals

We aim to remove dead animals by the end of the next working day after they have been reported. Where possible we will remove a dead animal the same day it is reported. We do not remove dead animals outside of normal working hours.

Once removed, dead animal carcasses are disposed of as quickly as possible for health and hygiene reasons. We are unable to retain dead animals for private burial, but will attempt to contact the owner of a dead animal found with a microchip or contact details on a tag.
