Sustainability Appraisal (Regulation 18)
The Sustainability Appraisal (SA) is a legal requirement and a process that supports the plan making process. The first stage of the process is the production of a SA Scoping Report that provides baseline information and sets objectives that will be used to appraise the new Local Plan against.
