COVID-19 Day of Reflection 2025

The national COVID-19 Day of Reflection, on Sunday 9 March, marks five years since the pandemic began and is supported by the Government and end-of-life charity, Marie Curie. Residents in Epsom & Ewell are invited to remember and reflect in any way that is meaningful to them, to pay tribute to those who worked, volunteered and showed acts of kindness during this unprecedented time, and remember those we lost.

This national day brings communities together from across the country to remember loved ones and to reflect on the impact of the pandemic and also to pay tribute to those who worked throughout this time such as health & social care and frontline workers, and others who volunteered and showed acts of kindness during this unprecedented time.

The pandemic impacted many of us in different ways and there are lots of ways to take part to suit you and how you'd like to remember and reflect.
