Where to park in Epsom

Short stay

The car parks at the Town Hall and Hope Lodge offer up to a 30 minute tariff for short stay visits to Epsom and the High Street. If visiting the Upper High Street area then the Upper High Street and Depot Road car parks offer a tariff of £1.50 for up to an hours stay. If visiting the Ashley Centre it will cost £2.00 to visit for up to an hour.

Medium stay

If staying in Epsom for 2-5 hours the Ashley Centre or Depot Road car park located at each end of town are the primary locations for medium term parking. If space is available parking can also be found for up to 3 hours in the West Hill car park located to the West of Epsom.

Long stay

If staying in Epsom or commuting from Epsom the all day tariff at Hook Road, Depot Road and Upper High Street car parks is £7. As the car parks in the Town Hall, Hope Lodge and the Ashley Centre are not designated for all day parking the tariff is much higher.

For the best rate for regular all day parking in Epsom a regular parker card for Hook Road Car Park can be purchased for £15 to run until 31 March 2024. With a regular parker card parking the all day tariff is reduced to £4.00. To apply for a regular parker please click on the form above.

Evenings/Weekends

All of our car parks offer a flat evening maximum rate of £3.00 after 4pm (Mon-Fri) or 6pm (Sat) for evening parking. Please note that in our barrier controlled car parks this rate only applies to vehicles which enter the car park after these times. On Sunday, parking in Epsom is charged at a flat rate of £2.50 for the day.

Please beware that Hook Road car park is locked at 11pm (Mon-Fri) or 8pm (Sat) and all day on Sundays and Bank Holidays. All other car parks remain open 24/7.

Where to park in Ewell

There are two car parks located close to the centre of Ewell – Dorset House and Ewell High Street. Rates are available for up to an hour to an all day stay. There is an evening charge in the car parks between 6:30pm and 7am which can be paid in addition to an all day stay.

The largest car park in Ewell is Bourne Hall car park which is the primary location for visitors to Bourne Hall, the library or nearby establishments. Bourne Hall car park does have a maximum stay restriction of 4 hours during the day with an evening charge available after 6:30pm.

Ewell Court House and the library located there has its own smaller car park with a maximum stay restriction of 3 hours.

On a Sunday parking in Ewell is charged at a flat rate of £1.50 for the day.

    Monday to Friday (6am to 11pm), Saturday (7am to 8pm), 530 spaces - including four designated for use with a blue badge. Car park is closed and locked on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
     
  • Hope Lodge - Dulshott Green, Epsom, KT17 4NY
    Monday to Sunday 24 hours, 83 spaces - including three designated for use with a blue badge
     
  • Sir William Atkins House (Epsom Gateway) - Ashley Avenue, Epsom, KT18 5AL
    Saturday only (7am to 6:30pm), 177 spaces - After Saturday 22nd October 2022 the Epsom Gateway Car Park, also known as Atkins car park, will no longer be available for public use. Please use alternative parking in the car parks at Hook Road, Depot Road or the Ashley Centre.

Type of car park

The car parks at the Ashley Centre and Hook Road are multi-storey barrier controlled car parks which are paid prior to exit. On entry please take a yellow token and keep it with you to make payment and leave the car park. A lost token charge does apply if the token is not presented at the exit barrier.

The car parks at Depot Road, Upper High Street, Bourne Hall, Dorset House, Ewell High Street, Hope Lodge and Town Hall (front and rear) and West Hill are pay and display car parks with fees also payable via RingGo.

Payment options

Credit Card payments by Chip and Pin are accepted in the Ashley Centre (levels 1 - 4) and Hook Road Car Park

Chip and Pin and contactless payment options are available at all of our pay and display car parks.

You can also pay for parking by phone or app using RingGo in our pay and display car parks (see below).

Motorhome parking information

Our public car parks cannot accommodate motorhomes.

Coach and Lorry parking

Unfortunately we have no dedicated parking for lorries or coaches within the borough.

RingGo

Payment by RingGo is underway in our pay and display car parks. RingGo allows you as a car park user to pay for your parking by mobile phone or app. It will also allow you to extend your parking stay via your phone should you wish to stay longer than the time you originally purchased. A small convenience fee is charged to the user of this service.
