Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan

The Council is working with Surrey County Council and consultants Atkins to produce a Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP).

The LCWIP will be a long-term plan. The objectives of the plan are to give residents more and better options to cycle and walk around the Borough. As a result this will lead to benefits including reduced congestion, better air quality, reduced carbon emissions and improved health and well-being.

The LCWIP was endorsed by the Council at the Licensing and Planning Policy meeting on 24 September 2024. Where it will now be taken forward and recommended for adoption by Surrey County Council. Please check back for further updates.
