Monday 20 October - interruption to garden waste collections on one route
We regret that, due to short-staffing issues, we were unable to collect garden waste on one of our routes on Monday 20 October. Map of affected route.
We regret that we are unable to return to empty these garden waste bins until your next scheduled collection on Monday 3 November. We will then also collect any excess garden waste that affected residents may have accumulated in the meantime, if it is bagged and left next to your brown bin (please do not use bags that are larger than your brown bin).
We apologise sincerely for this interruptions to your garden waste service, and thank you for your patience.
My Council Services
You can now report issues relating to refuse and recycling collections, such as missed collections, on our residents' portal, My Council Services.
My Council Services already allows residents to report issues, such as fly-tipping, dead animals, graffiti and littering, as well as managing garden waste subscriptions, bulky waste bookings and ordering new bins.
Signing up is simple. We recommend registering for an account, as this will allow us to keep you updated with the progress of your requests. To do so, just access the portal here: My Council Services (please ensure you are using either Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox as your browser).
