Epsom and Ewell Sports Awards 2017
The 7th annual Epsom and Ewell Sports Awards took place on Tuesday 3 October, at Epsom Downs Racecourse. The evening celebrated the local athletes, coaches, volunteers, teams and clubs that have enjoyed success throughout the year.
The evening included a profile of local athletes in the Borough who are supported by GLL through the GLL Sport Foundation. This included guest speaker Alexandra Rickham, Paralympic bronze medallist in both the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
The Royal Automobile Club were also present to promote their Sporting Scholarships and Grants programme. To find out more about how the Royal Automobile Club are supporting athletes in the Borough please visit their website.

All nominations were assessed by an independent panel and whittled down to a shortlist.
The winners will be announced at the Epsom and Ewell Sports Awards that are taking place on Tuesday 3 October at Epsom Downs Racecourse. The awards are hosted by Epsom & Ewell Borough Council in partnership with the Epsom & Ewell Sports and Leisure Council.
