Submission and Consultation Stage: July/August 2006

Responses from the consultation on the 'Preferred Options' document and sustainability appraisal informed the preparation of the final draft of the Core Strategy; the 'Core Strategy Submission Document'.

Following approval by the Council on 27 June 2006, the Core Strategy Submission Document was submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination on 5 July 2006.  There then followed a period of public consultation which ran from 5 July to 16 August 2006.
