Team Epsom & Ewell Surrey Youth Games Entry Form

Registrations for some sports may close early if entries are high. To avoid disappointment please register at your earliest convenience. Entries are currently closed for Girls Basketball, Netball High 5, Junior Netball, Badminton, Junior Table Tennis, Squash and Swimming.

The P&G Surrey Youth Games is the largest annual youth sports competition in the county, with more than 2,000 competitors across 15 different sports. The P&G Surrey Youth Games is open to young people between 7 and 16 years old and is a great opportunity for young people to try out a new sport.

It also provides an opportunity for young people who currently participate in a sport to try their hands at something different. We often find that young people have an aptitude for a sport they may have never ever though about trying! Team Epsom and Ewell came 7th in the 2014 Games.

We want to see if we can move up the table in 2015. Who knows, we may even repeat the success of 2013 when Epsom & Ewell won the P&G Surrey Youth Games for the first time!

Check out the list of the sports that will feature in 2015 below.

Background Information for the Team Epsom & Ewell Hopefuls...

The P&G Surrey Youth Games is an exciting festival of sport which attracts young people to play in a range of sports at a competitive level. Epsom & Ewell pit their wits against teams from the 10 other boroughs and districts of Surrey. It is a great opportunity to make some new friends and try your hand at some sports that you may not have played before.

Qualified coaches will run all sports, with the majority having direct links with local clubs with junior sections. The Games offer young people the chance to become connected with local sports clubs. The lucky ones who are chosen for the various sporting squads will be invited to some advanced training sessions leading up to the Games. This provides an opportunity to meet team mates, learn more about the sport, and profit from excellent coaching which will help to develop the skills required to do well in the Games.

There are also pathways in place to make sure that all young people involved with the Surrey Youth Games can make use of the close links established with local sports clubs and continue playing sport after the Games have finished. This includes participants who may not have been selected to represent the Borough in the Surrey Youth Games.

If you are too old to compete in the Games, there are plenty of volunteer opportunities to get involved with which means you enjoy the prestige of the Games whilst supporting our Borough.
