The Local Government Boundary Committee for England is responsible for administering local government electoral arrangements.
The Boundary Commission for England is an independent non-departmental public body. The Commission is required by the Parliamentary Constituencies Act 1986 to review the Parliamentary constituencies in England every five years.
Regular reviews are made of Parliamentary, Borough and County electoral boundaries in consultation with the local Council, political parties and local residents.
